Concepta Ingredients announces partnership with Castro Óleos for the production of cold pressed oils

Grupo Sabará’s business unit joins the company from Paraná that owns cutting-edge technology

São Paulo, June 2022 – Concepta Ingredients, a business unit of Sabará Group specialized in providing natural solutions for the food and beverage sector, announces a new commercial partnership.
Starting this month of June, its range of cold-pressed vegetable oils from the Brazilian biodiversity will also feature special cold-pressed oils produced exclusively by Castro Óleos Vegetais.

Directed to the food market, mainly to the segments of nutraceuticals, functional foods and food supplements, Concepta Ingredients cold-pressed oils are able to preserve the flavor, color and aroma characteristics of the seeds, in addition to having a higher concentration of bioactive components.

The target line of this alliance is composed of four ingredients: cold-pressed linseed oil, known as one of the main plant sources of omega 3, an important anti-inflammatory; cold-pressed sunflower oil, source of omega 6 and 9, recognized for its ability to increase immunity; cold-pressed sesame oil, which offers a high concentration of oleic acid and linoleic acid, capable of strengthening heart health; and cold-pressed safflower oil, also with a high concentration of oleic acid.

The CEO of Sabará Group, Ulisses Matiolli Sabará, explains that, with the alliance, all cold-pressed oils exclusively by Castro Óleos for Concepta Ingredients will now have 100% national extraction. “This is important in several aspects, for us and mainly for our customers, as well as for the national industry. From now on, we have expanded the spectrum of products offered both to our current customers who purchased imported oils and to all customers who purchased these ingredients directly from Castro Óleos, who, from now on, will have direct access to the vast portfolio of Concepta Ingredients.”, he points out.
