Babassu Cheese and Onion Crackers
1 big onion
125ml of milk
250g of sour flour
250g of babassu mesocarp flour
30g of maize starch
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of de pimenta caiena em pó
10 drops of tabasco pepper
200g of Organic Toasted Babassu Oil
150g of grated cheese
1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
2. Process the onion with milk in a processor until it becomes a smooth paste; add eggs, Organic Toasted Babassu Oiland tabasco and beat until smooth.
3. Add the onion mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well. Finally, add the grated cheese and mix until incorporated.
4. Roll out the dough to the desired thickness. Cut with a spool, bake in a greased pan and place in a preheated oven until crisp, and dry (approximately 35 minutes).
