Fig and Cupuaçu Crostata


½ cup rice flour

½ cup whole wheat flour

1/4 cup turbinado sugar

50g cupuaçu butter

1 fig

1/3 cup water (can be more)

blackberry jam ( or some other sour kind of jam)


1. Preheat oven at 200C.

2. In a bowl mix rice flour, wheat flour, sugar, cupuaçu butter. Mix well.

3. Add 1 tablespoon of water at the time. Dough should just hold together and be moist (but not wet). 

4. Press dough using you finger tips into tart pan.

5. Bake for 20 minutes. Take it out of the pan still hot.
