The Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global agenda adopted at the UN Summit on Sustainable Development in September 2015, comprising 17 objectives and 169 goals to be achieved by 2030. The topics are divided into four main dimensions: social, environmental, economic and institutional. The SDGs were built in a worldwide negotiation process, and began in 2013, and counted on the participation of Brazil in its discussions and definitions regarding the agenda.

Ulisses Matiolli Sabará, president of Sabará Group, was recognized as a Local SDG Pioneer during the UN Global Compact Leaders’ Conference, held in New York in June 2016. At the conference, the ten Local SDG Pioneers, business leaders and transformation agents engaged in stimulating actions and businesses aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) were announced, which were chosen from more than 600 participants from 100 countries around the world.
Ulisses Sabará was selected for his efforts aligned with Goal 15 - Life on Land, dedicated to protecting, restoring and promoting the sustainable use of land ecosystems, sustainably management of forests, fighting desertification, halting and reversing land degradation and halting the loss of biodiversity.

SDG 2 – Zero Hunger
For 20 years, Concepta has continuously sought to develop alternatives to the markets in which it operates, bringing to its portfolio increasingly natural and healthy ingredients for food, beverage, animal nutrition and pharmaceutical industries, always aiming to increase health and food safety.
SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
Our ample portfolio includes everything, from ingredients of Brazilian biodiversity to inputs with added technology, capable of meeting the most specific demands of the industries in which it operates. Our sustainable production ranges from ethical relationships with local communities to our manufacturing processes, aligning good manufacturing and environmentally responsible practices such as: selective collection, correct disposal of waste, control of carbon emissions and use of packaging that reduce production of waste.
SDG 15 – Life on Land
Concepta Ingredients works with products from ecosystems and biomes that mobilize and promote their conservation and sustainable use. By working with local communities, we have perpetuated the concept and knowledge of keeping the “Standing Forest”, protecting the biodiversity and avoiding deforestation and extinction of species.
