Copaíba Oil
(Copaifera langsdorffii oil)
Obtained from cold pressing of the crude oil of Copaíba (Copaifera Officinalis), a tree belonging to the Fabaceae family and the Leguminosae subfamily: Caesalpinioideaeu, this species, popularly known as forest antibiotic, is widely used in the Amazon for medical purposes.
The oil is extracted through incisions.
