Pickled Cucumber
Ingredients:
• 3 sliced cucumbers
• ¼ cup liquid whole sugar
• 2 tablespoons turbinado sugar
• ½ cup apple cider vinegar
• 2 tablespoons salt
• Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
• 300ml of water
Directions:
1. In a saucepan boil water, salt, sugar and vinegar.
2. Place cucumber on a bowl and pour the liquid over it. Let it sit for 1 hour. Mix well and place cucumber and liquid on a mason jar. Let it sit for 1 week in the refrigerator. 3. When serving, remove liquid and garnish with roasted sesame seeds.
